A manufacture of photographical plates

In Prague at Královské Vinohrady ( ), Ing. Gustav Šebor began a manufacture of photographical plates (for export marked by a label with the text Plaques Photographiques de Prague /du gélatinobromure d`argent/ de l`ingenieur chimiste Gustave Šebor á Prague - Král. Vinohrady). The Czech ones had a name Slavie and a label with the Slavonic tricolor. The factory used the best coating machines available at that time. The plates were made up to 1904. The manufacture ended because of a competition by foreign companies, which could offer larger profits to dealers.
