Ferdinand Brožek opened a portrait photo studio in Brno. Next to portraits he photographed also architectural and natural sights. He was first to capture on a set of carte-de-visite the city of Brno. Later he was engaged also in portrait and locality photography in Vysoké Mýto, Jihlava, Turnov and Jičín.
