In Brno Adolf Schwöder (1811-after 1880) begun to cooperate with a painter Johann Tripp (1816-1865), who colored his photographs. Schwöder was the first portrait photographer settled in Brno. This is the first example in the Czech photography suggesting joining of the technical and artistic components of photography in a co-existing link.
